If you like monkeys than you are in luck!  I started my monkey training in 1992, drunk in a bar. The official training, that of pushing buttons, started after meeting a program director at a bar. That PD was also drunk, thus the job offer. I love the gig of radio and am still in the clouds that I finally get to say, "The River City Rocker," every Saturday, 2-7pm. Kick back, rock with me and be listening for that chance encounter when I get to rock live on location!

Seriously.  I have sobered up most of the time and ended up doing that thing that I would never do...birth a baby! I have an incredible husband that puts up with me. Thus the 3 year old. We don't get out much because it's damn near impossible to get me out of my pj's.
 

Music: This is it, GBF! I can't remember not listening! I am a fan of the blues too. Allman Brothers, Keb'Mo', BB, Robert Johnson, etc. I have a love of classical music, like that Bach guy and even went off to school to train as a classical flutist. And then there is Led Zeppelin!!!

Movies: I don't go to the movies...no monkey has pockets, therefore no money. Actually, if I can't hit pause at my convenience than I prefer to stay home. One of my last visits to the theatre was for the Stones, "Shine a Light."  Before that, "The Incredibles."  I do love taking in a Tarantino flick, the Bourne series and Transporter(s). My all time favorite would have to be "The School of Rock."  Face-melting!!!

Television: I can't get enough of Burn Notice. Michael (the main guy) is the schniznit!!! Rules of Engagement is the best!! I can't get enough of Putty...Puddy...the guy from Seinfeld.  Friggin' nut!! I also love hearing Keith Olberman and Rachel Maddow on MSNBC, mainly for their sarcasm. After that, thanks to that 3 year old, it's Dragon Tales, Sesame Street, Sid the Science Kid, etc. Dora can kiss my white a@#!!
